Public Futures is the only knowledge resource to collect and research remunicipalisation processes. It provides a collaborative research environment by and for a global network of practitioners, communities, researchers and organisations. It is brought to you by the Transnational Institute, the University of Glasgow and Public Services International.

Water, energy, care work, or transport are the foundation for healthy and sustainable communities. All over the world, people who are working in services and infrastructure, governments and administrations, trade unions, local initiatives and non-governmental organisations are bringing services and infrastructure into public hands in place of privatisation. 

Public Futures is the only knowledge resource to collect and research such processes. It provides a collaborative research environment by and for a global network of practitioners, communities, researchers and organisations.

You can search the entire database for topics to find the cases you are most interested in, and also save cases to personal pin boards while browsing and reading through cases. You can sign-up to contribute cases and case information, and openly access and download all data for further research.
