C190 PSI Jordanian affiliate campaigning to elimine Violence Against Women

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women marks the launch of the UNiTE campaign (Nov 25- Dec 10) — an initiative of 16 days of activism concluding on the day that commemorates the International Human Rights Day (10 December). PSI affiliate the Independent Trade Union of Health Sector in Jordan produced a video to commemorate this day and join the campaign.

Unionist Ms. Salsabeel Nabil coordinated with the union president Mrs. Khouloud al Moumani and with the women committee to produce this video which aims to mobilize the Jordanian society to encourage prevention of violence against women, to stand in solidarity with women who are subject to violence and calls on women to report any form of violence they were or are subjected to.
