Health Nurse-for-cash agreement between Ghana and UK
Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo tells BBC News Africa of her concerns about the negative effects that the nurse-for-cash agreement between the Ghanaian government and Britain could have on the country's health system. The agreement includes sending trained Ghanaian nurses to the UK. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo is the President of PSI affiliate the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association, Chairperson of the West African Health Sector Unions Network (WAHSUN) of PSI and the Chairperson of the Ghana PSI National Coordinating Council.
