Africa & Arab Countries Launch of the Young Workers Education and Mentorship Program
PSI-affiliated unions have launched an innovative Young Workers Education and Mentorship Program (YEMP) with over 40 young workers from the Africa and Arab Countries region.

The program will deliver twelve annual sessions focused on political education, skills development, and global issues, aiming to develop future trade union leaders. PSI Vice President Peters Adeyemi, supported by co-chair Ritta Thandeka, launched the initiative, with Adeyemi's union, NASU, committing to sponsor the first year and host the 2025 young workers conference. The launch event brought together union leaders from across the region, including FORSA Ireland's deputy general secretary and Ghanaian officials, with sponsorship from FORSA and CLOGSAG.
