Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a 37-year-old intensive care unit nurse at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a member of PSI affiliate union the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), was fatally shot by immigration agents on 24 January, in Minneapolis amid protests over federal immigration enforcement operations.
