Japanese unions petition for natural energy

Following the Fukushima nuclear disaster, the population of Japan is turning more and more to natural energy resources. Over 170,000 people from trade unions and civil organisations gathered in Tokyo on 16 July 2012, where they demonstrated against nuclear power.

They have distributed a petition calling for the closure and dismantling of all nuclear power stations, and hope to obtain 10 million signatures.
