The video, "I am not a hero", conceived and directed by Capodieci, a nurse with a passion for video and photography, spares no criticism of the counter-productive common sense promoted by the media that insists on calling nurses heroes - while the fight for better wages and dignity at work is barely mentioned.
"I'm not a hero, I'm the same one you yelled at a few months ago, the one you insulted for 30 years because of your long waits, the one who works on Christmas and Mid-August, the one who helped you when you were driving drunk or the one you wanted to beat up," says the 3-minute video.
