DGB-BW Value chains National Planning Meetings
National Planning Meeting, Kampala, Uganda on 17-18 Nov 2020
Trade union leadership together with technical officers from the electricity, water and waste management sectors from Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria PSI affiliates attended their country-specific DGB-BW Project national planning meetings held on 3-4 November 2020 in Nairobi, Kenya, 4-5 November 2020 in Abuja, Nigeria and 17-18 in Kampala, Uganda respectively. The 3 meetings were part of the DGB-BW Value Chains project on “Promoting transparency & decent work in supply chains in Electricity, Water and Waste Services in Sub-Sahara Africa.“
The participants were able to discuss the project activities planned for 2021 and in addition discussed case study experience, reflecting real situations of privatization of water, electricity and waste management sectors in their specific countries and the possible causes of such situations.
