The objective of this conference is to give Global Deal partners the opportunity to showcase their voluntary commitments to accelerate action on social dialogue and industrial relations, contributing to the Global Deal’s vision for decent work and inclusive growth. The conference will provide partners with a platform for sharing experiences and good practices on how social dialogue can be used to achieve win-win situations that are to the benefit of both business as well as workers and society at large. The format of the conference will include two main sessions. In the first session, Global Deal partners will share experiences on how social dialogue facilitates the management of the world of work affected by technological, climate and demographic changes. A second session will focus in particular on the role of social dialogue in moving the agenda of decent work in global supply chains forward. Each session will start with an opening panel, after which participants will be invited to participate in one of three parallel breakout sessions, delving deeper into certain dimensions of the issue.
