Public Services International in partnership with DGB Project is organizing the first PSI´s Indigenous Peoples Meeting. It takes place on 24th and 25th November in the following times:

2pm Costa Rica, México, Guatemala//// 3pm Colombia, Ecuador, Washington DC, Ottawa/// 4 pm Barbados/// 5 pm Brasil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay

Our goals are

• knowing Indigenous Peoples point of view about the Inter-America region,

• learning about actual concerns of Indigenous Peoples in the region,

• discussing the union movement role in Indigenous Peoples struggles and,

• building strategic alliances (union movement and Indigenous Peoples Organizations) to strengthen bonds and building a joint agenda.

We are planning a panel discussion on Indigenous Peoples perspectives about inter- American region on day 1, and the union movement role in Indigenous Peoples issues and struggles on day 2.
