Promoting a gender-responsive recovery through social dialogue

  • 1 Jun - 1 Jun
  • Geneva, Switzerland

The Global Deal 2021 webinar series examines how social dialogue can be used as a tool to deal with challenges in global supply chains, promote a gender-responsive recovery, and contribute to due diligence.

This second webinar, “Promoting a gender-responsive recovery through social dialogue”, will take place on Tuesday, 1 June 2021, from 14:30 to 16:00 (Central European Time). It will present the Global Deal brief on the contribution of social dialogue to gender equality, which demonstrates that women have been disproportionately impacted by the economic and social fallouts of the COVID-19 crisis. It is therefore important that gender equality is at the core of the efforts to build an inclusive, fair and sustainable recovery. Social dialogue can support these efforts since it is an efficient tool to deliver gender-equal outcomes and close gender inequality gaps in the world of work.

In this webinar, speakers will present good practices that highlight the key contribution of social dialogue and sound industrial relations to promoting a gender-responsive recovery.
