The event is organized by the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND) and the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs (IFI) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), in cooperation with the Reflection Group.

The workshop aims to provide a space for exchange of experiences and strategies among representatives of national, regional and global civil society initiatives. There will be around 15-20 representatives from the Arab region and a similar number from the Reflection Group and a few other national and international CSOs. In addition to the workshop, the Spotlight Report 2017 will be launched in a public event in the evening of the first day.
