The PSI Africa region virtual workshop on HEALTH EQUITY IN AFRICA: A UNION STRATEGY is planned for the 31st May 2022 from 12:00-14:30 South Africa Standard time (SAST).

Health Equity is the latest initiative by PSI to conscientise workers and communities on the importance of health issues in the advent of COVID-19 pandemic in Africa.

The leadership of unions of public services workers who are members of PSI in Africa will be attending this workshop.

 The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview of the challenges to health equity brought by unequal access to health technologies and to also give an update on the TRIPS Waiver as proposed by South Africa and India.
