An extended online Africa Municipal and Local Government Union Network (AMALGUM) and other local government affiliates meeting will take place on Wednesday, 1st February at 11am GMT.

This meeting is being called to take forward the discussion on the joint PSI-UCLG (United Cities and Local Governments) in  Africa project on advocating for quality public services and decent jobs. We would like to finalise potential case studies for this project as part of the initial scoping exercise for the project. Each case study would be an opportunity for joint advocacy, at a very local level, between the local union and the local government structures, for changes and improvements that would allow for workers conditions to be improved, while delivery a quality public service.
