This workshop zooms in on collective bargaining strategies and experiences related to the digitalisation of work. We will hear from affiliates who are currently negotiating or have already finalised their collective bargaining. How did they prepare their proposals? What did they bring to the table? And what were the final outcomes? We will ask for their reflections and combine these with our proposal for a collective bargaining strategy. 

We will discuss our strategy proposal during the workshop and refine it according to your input. After the workshop participants will receive a copy of the final strategy, which will outline what beneficially should be negotiated in what order to ensure your bargaining demands stand the test of time as new digital technologies get developed and deployed. 

The workshop is for all PSI affiliates and comrades who are keen to bring worker demands to the negotiation table to bridge legal gaps and ensure that digital technologies are implemented in respect of workers’ rights.  

Our digital consultants, Hannah Johnston and Christina Colclough will be guiding us through the workshop.
