We are holding an online meeting of the six countries, across two regions (Africa and Arab countries; and Latin America), that have been involved in the Union to Union Climate Change and Just Transition project, as well as the Swedish affiliates who have partnered with us on this project.

The main aims of the meeting will be

• · to allow affiliates in the different regions to share experiences of how they are integrating climate change into their work as trade unions;

• · to identify common themes and issues that have emerged in the different countries;

• · to draw out lessons that have emerged through the project, across the different countries.

This will be an important opportunity to engage with public sector trade unions in other countries about shared experiences and common themes in the Climate Change and Just Transition work of the affiliates.

We would like to extend an invitation to affiliates in other countries to attend this online meeting in an observer capacity. It will be an interesting opportunity to hear how other countries are taking up the issue of climate change.

This meeting will take place on Thursday 5 December from 13:00 – 16:00 GMT.

There will be English/Spanish/Arabic translation.
