PSI affiliates are invited to join this African regional workshop on water being organised 29 June from 12:30 to 14:00 (tbc) London BST (UTC+1). This workshop, part of the Shifting Narratives Conference, will focus on the strong campaigns on water, strong ‘narratives’ about public services, and the common element of organising regionally, or at least across multiple countries.
This workshop is being held on the third day of the four-day online conference on shifting narratives around public services, spending and production (PSSP). This virtual conference, organised by UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) and University of Greenwich’s Public Services International Research Unit (UoG-PSIRU), in collaboration with Public Services International (PSI), will be held from 27th to 30 June 2022.
The objectives of the conference are to bring together academics, unions and social movements in a 2-way sharing of research and information on issues, trends and campaigns around public services, globally. This is also the time to encourage critical academic research on PSSP issues and promote the collaboration between academics/young with those involved in these narrative shifts - social movement activists, trade unions, media and NGOs.
As PSI affiliates, you are invited to attend the full conference, including these regional workshops and encouraged to participate actively. Please keep the dates of 27-30 June free!
