What's critical to achieving women's economic rights but missing from Women Deliver?

Trade Unions.

Melbourne is home to the oldest continually operating union building in the world - and it's proudly feminist. Unions in Melbourne won the first 8-hour day, the first living wage, and a public health system that delivers some of the strongest reproductive rights in the world. They have fostered countless social movements along the way.

Join PSI, in collaboration with Union Aid Abroad – APHEDA and Victorian Trades Hall Council, for a powerful, feminist tour of the heritage-listed Victorian Trades Hall, where you'll meet feminist trade unionists and hear how we win - together.

Date: Thursday, 30 April

Meeting points (choose one):

  • 12:30 pm entrance of the Melbourne Convention Centre

  • 1:00 pm — Victorian Trades Hall, cor Lygon & Victoria Sts, Carlton
