Isabela Callegari is Tax Justice, Trade and Digitalization Coordinator for Latin America

Isabela is Brazilian, with a master's degree in Economics from Unicamp, with research in Ecological Economics, Feminist Economics, and Fiscal and Monetary Policy. She is a member of the Ecological Macroeconomics Study Group (GEMAECO), co-founder of the Institute of Functional Finance for Development (IFFD Brazil), and has over 10 years of experience in the third sector and participation in various Brazilian social movements. In recent years, she has been involved in projects related to cooperation and tax reform, the impacts of austerity, public debt, monetary sovereignty, trade, extractivism, care, and climate change. She has served as an organisational representative in global and regional forums such as the Regional Tax Cooperation Platform for Latin America and the Caribbean (PTLAC), the Gender and Trade Coalition (GTC), the International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD) and the United Nations Tax Convention (UNFCITC). In 2026, she joined PSI as coordinator of Tax Justice, Trade and Digitalisation for Latin America.
