PSI, in a joint statement with other global union federations, expressed strong opposition to attempts at slashing labour rights in Sri Lanka through the “Single Employment Bill”. PSI also submitted a letter addressed to the Sri Lankan Ministry of Labor and Foreign Employment in support of the calls of Sri Lankan trade unions. The statement of the global unions follows.
