On December 11, the Philippine Senate voted to concur with the ratification of ILO Convention 190 or the Convention on the Elimination of Violence and Harassment in the World of Work making the Philippines the first country in Asia to ratify the landmark treaty protecting all workers from all forms of violence at work, including gender-based violence and harassment.
