PSI's German affiliate ver.di is organising its 5th Ordinary Federal Congress “FOR A FAIR FUTURE” from 22 to 28 September 2019 at the Exhibition Centre in Leipzig.

The theme ”FOR A FAIR FUTURE” reflects ver.di’s commitment to shaping the world of work, especially with regards to digital disruption. Other main topics include expanding the scope of collective bargaining, fair distribution, socio-ecological transformation and retirement security.

The opening ceremony for the Federal Congress will commence on Sunday, 22 September (6 pm).

During the evening of Tuesday, 24 September, PSI General Secretary, Rosa Pavanelli, will be speaking during the international discussion evening about right-wing populism and nationalism in Europe and across the globe.
