The event will consider the effects of Bolsonaro's policies on labour organisation, the natural environment, democratic structures, women, and marginalised groups, including Afro-Brazilians, LGBT people and the Indigenous. The discussion will also highlight the ways in which Brazilian civil society has organised to resist this far right onslaught.

We invite trade unionists, internationalists, and all people interested in the global struggle against the new far right to attend this event to hear a detailed account of the challenge to democracy in Brazil.
