Elected Leadership
The PSI Congress is the highest governing body. Every five years, affiliates at the Congress elect PSI President, PSI General Secretary and the Executive Board, which runs the organisation and ensures the implementation of decisions taken.
2023-2028 Mandate
PSI is organised into four regions: Africa and Arab Countries, Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Inter-America.
Every five years, affiliates from each region convene at a Regional Conference and elect their Regional Executive Committees. These committees elect two Co-Chairs per region, who also serve as PSI Vice-Presidents. In Europe, the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) serves as PSI regional body and the EPSU GS and President sit on PSI Executive Board.
Each Regional Executive Committee appoint the World Women’s Committee (WOC) members from its region. The WOC Chair sits at the Executive Board.
