El personal de la salud de Malasia ha obtenido una importante victoria, ya que el gobierno ha retirado su plan de aumentar su jornada laboral de 42 a 45 horas semanales. El personal de la salud se oponía enérgicamente a la ampliación propuesta, pues ya trabajaba por encima de las normas de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo (OIT) y de las mejores prácticas mundiales.
