Los sindicatos de Tanzania afiliados a la Internacional de Servicios Públicos (ISP) y sus aliados han dicho al gobierno que utilizar incentivos fiscales para atraer inversores no es una opción política acertada. Afirman que impide al gobierno recaudar los ingresos que necesita para hacer frente a los problemas de déficit presupuestario, escasez de vivienda, educación, sanidad y salarios de los trabajadores.
